Aneta Pierog – Sudol was born in Poland. She spent most of her life in Jablonka, the capital of the Orava region, Poland. She has been living in the United States since 2002.
Aneta studied at the Art Institute of the Pedagogical University in Cracow where she majored in photography and painting. She graduated with a Master`s degree in art education in 1999.
Her work focuses on land structures, architecture patterns, landscapes, and rhythm in nature. Aneta participated in numerous group photo exhibitions in Poland and in the United States, as well as five individual photo exhibitions: the 2002 “Jablonka – Homes, Trees, Panoramas…” at the Orava Ethnographic Park Museum in Poland, the 2001 “Colors of Orava” at the Orava Cultural Center Gallery in Poland, the 2013 “American Sites” at the Orava Cultural Center Gallery in Poland, the 2014 “Places” at Starbucks, Brooklyn, NY, and the 2014 “Texture, Structure and Pattern” at The Skulski Art Gallery (The Polish Cultural Foundation), Clark, NJ.
Aneta has been a member of the Polish-American Photographic Club in New York since 2005. She is a member of the Clifton Association of Artists and the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts. She is the owner of Rustic Square LLC – Art, Design & Photography Studio (us an art teacher, art instructor, art therapist, photographer, event and party designer, wedding planner, sculptor).
